Getting started is easy once you have the right support, which is why I am here. Follow these steps to get started:

1st Step - Orientation with a Personal Trainer

The Art of Strength Orientation starts with a total body exercise called the Turkish Get-Up (TGU). In order to master the TGU, a person must utilize the strength of both major and minor muscle groups and have a certain degree of stability, flexibility and balance. By watching a TGU an Art of Strength trainer can recognize the strengths and weaknesses of your movements. We then use the TGU Corrective Circuit; a workout circuit designed to replicate the movement of a TGU through a progression of various exercises. By approaching the clients deficiencies in this way the trainer allows you to successfully (and enjoyably) work through a circuit which directly applies the movements of the TGU.

2nd Step Kettlebell Fundamentals with Sean Muir

This one hour sessions is a required class for each member before progressing into any of our other programs. For many people, this is the first time using a kettlebell. The hour focuses on form and technique of the basic movements you will experience in our class and small group environments. It gives us and you the opportunity to work one on one together to ensure your technique is at a safe level for you to progress into another program. Led by Sean Muir, our Art of Strength certified lead trainer, this workshop will fully prepare you and get you ready to join our classes.

3rd Step. Start Faze 1 Training

Faze 1 is designed to bring you back to the basis of kettlebell training. Working with kettlebells is a true specialty and everyone needs to progress in a particular way to get the true benefits of this type of art. Faze1 focuses on the vintage progressions of kettlebells using all the tools we offer. Each class will center around one kettlebell essential drill to help each individual achieve mastery of the move. This class is suited for the beginner in the sense that it is the foundation of what Punch training is about. However, the intensity level of Faze 1 will challenge both the novice and the veteran.
