Getting started is easy once you have the right support, which is why I am here. Follow these steps to get started: 1st Step - Orientation with a Personal Trainer The Art of Strength Orientation starts with a total body exercise called the Turkish Get-Up (TGU). In order to master the TGU, a person must utilize the strength of both major and minor muscle groups and have a certain degree of stability, flexibility and balance. By watching a TGU an Art of Strength trainer can recognize the strengths and weaknesses of your movements. We then use the TGU Corrective Circuit; a workout circuit designed to replicate the movement of a TGU through a progression of various exercises. By approaching the clients deficiencies in this way the trainer allows you to successfully (and enjoyably) work through a circuit which directly applies the movements of the TGU.
